Women’s Writers’ Group

This group meets on Wednesday afternoon from 2:30-4:00 in my home located in Brunswick Forest. We join together with the belief that every woman has something important to say. With that belief in mind and the help of a prompt to inspire us, we write for 15-20 minutes. You do not have to have any former writing experience. We don’t critique anyone’s writing and you don’t have to share your writing if you aren’t comfortable doing so. Previously, we have written on various topics ranging from ones based on a personal experience to some purely fictional stories. Often times, our writings help us get to know ourselves better and each other too. Sometimes, we surprise ourselves wondering where in the world did that thought originate. If you want to step out, try something new and get to know someone from church through a life group this might just be your cup of tea. Spread your wings and be willing to take flight. You might just surprise yourself and discover you have be given a gift to write! I want to encourage you to try our group. No pressure… We’d be happy to have you join us.
